Transamerica Retirement Solutions, a leader in the retirement services marketplace is creating a culture of SuperSavers and is looking for a Retirement Planning Consultant in the Philadelphia (primarily Conshohocken & Langhorn), Pennsylvania area.
As a Retirement Planning Consultant you will provide on-location group enrollment/educational meetings and one-on-one counseling sessions with plan participants on retirement and investment needs.
Responsibilities include:
Promoting and marketing the Retirement Plan.
Providing personal, one-on-one meetings in a non-commissioned environment.
Teaching the retirement planning basics in group settings.
Helping people of all ages and backgrounds create a personal savings plan.
Providing participants with insight into their investment options.
Qualifications:
Strong investment knowledge for education meetings and one-on-one counseling sessions.
Knowledge of 401(k)/403(b) plans & investments essential.
Strong interpersonal, presentation & organizational skills required.
Excellent verbal, written and time management skills.
Team skills to contribute to the success of departmental goals and objectives.
Experience using Excel and Word - as well as web-based retirement planning tools.
FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 required.
Individuals with brokerage/financial advisor experience are encouraged to apply.
Local travel is required.
